Make sure your device is equipped with the latest version of iOS.To configure a new iOS device or to upgrade to the latest version of iOS, open the Settings menu, tap General, and then update the software, and you will know if an update is available.
After turning on a new iOS device or have installed the update to the latest iOS version, follow the instructions in the installation wizard to configure your device and enable iCloud for iphone. If you do not follow the configuration step, tap the Settings icon in the iphone screen, press iCloud tile, then put your valuable Apple ID.
Customize your settings
Tap the Settings icon and select iCloud. Touch the corresponding switches to individually enable each service iCloud. To enable iCloud Backup, tap Storage and Backup, then select Backup iCloud. Now setup your icloud account. Simply activate Mail in iCloud settings and follow the instructions on the screen.
